Mahatma Gandhi Municipal Corporation High School at Gandhi Nagar, Kakinada has completed 60 years of its career. According to the records, as many as 20 thousand students have completed their studies by this school, so many of them are in a very good position now. Firstly, the school has started with only Telugu medium but later in 1996-97 academic year, English medium standards also started for higher classes. That is the first time in the state, that a Municipal High School have introduced an English medium. In 1997, MGMH Allumni Trust has been started in the school and have done many activities for the growth of the school. Nearly 15 Lakhs of amount have been used by the trust for the school development works. Many Teachers, Principals & other staff given their services to the school and make it a big success with good records. Along with education, sports & extra curriculum activites also encouraged here.
