Kakinada, Feb 23rd: Five of the students of Aditya IIT academy are selected for the prestigious scholarship awards announced by Kishor Vignyana Yogana. Chairman of Aditya group of Educations and former MLC Mr. N Shesha Reddy and director K.V.V S Murthy has declared this to the media in a meeting organized by the management in the school premises on Monday.
Out of 25 students selected from the state five of the students were from Aditya School. The names of the students include Srikar, Ravi Kiran, Sai Kiran, Chalapathi Charan, Venkatesh. These students will be provided with a scholarship of Rs 48,000 per year till post graduation level and in addition to this an additional grant of Rs 16,000 will be provided for books and all other needs every year.
Sources reveal that nearly 10 lakh students appeared for this exam conducted in the month of November, 2008. The students having basic qualification of 10th class are eligible for applying this exam. The scrutiny of the applications will be done depending on the percentage of marks obtained in Mathematics and Science subjects. Later written test and interview process will be conducted.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Shesha Reddy felt very happy about the students and congratulated them for their success. He blessed them to come out with more flying colors in future. IIT academy principal J. Moena also participated.
