Birth anniversary of Lions Club International Organization founder Melwin Jones was observed here on Friday. This program was held in association with Lions Club, Kakinada at Lions Community Hall. On this, Senior Lions Club Member GVS Gandhiji stated that Melwin Jones has established Lions International Social Organization in the year 1917. They paid rich tribute by offering garlands to the picture of Jones. Lions club also donated Rs.1000/- to financially struggling reporter Chakravarthula Venkateswarao.
