District Revenue Office (DRO), Mr. B.Yadagiri called upon all the officials to get ready with complete information on ‘Right to Information Act’. Speaking on this, he stated that meeting on implementation of Right to Information Act would be conducted on 9th August. He participated in the preview meeting here on Saturday with officials from district conducted at Vidhaan Gowthami Conference Hall, Collectorate. He also stated that this Act is being implemented from many days but complaints were received that there is no proper implementation. Information must be provided to the applicant within 30days, he added. He cleared the doubts regarding implementation of this act and he asked for suggestions and advice. RDO’s, officials from various departments across the district were present.
