District Revenue Officer Mr.S.Venkatarao directed the program conducted in association with National Green core Corp (NGC) for protection of environment must be a huge success. A meeting was held on the discussion of National Green Corp arrangements at DRO chamber this Monday. In this meeting, programs conducted by NGC during 2010-2011 will have a special committee which includes 15 members. District Collector will be Chairman of this committee and other District officials, members of NGO will be part of this committee as members. All the members will accomplish NGC programs in government and private schools. Through visits and demonstrations they can assemble youngsters and inspire them the spirit of scientific investigation into environmental problems and involving them in the efforts of environmental protection. The main objectives of this program are to educate children about their immediate environment and impart knowledge about the eco-systems, their inter-dependence and their need for survival he added. All NGO, NGC members participated in this meeting.
