Kakinada, Mar 10th: Asking to extend their cooperation for the smooth conduct of the polls in the district, a review meeting was organized by the district collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi for the political party representatives at collectorate on Tuesday. Various party representatives attended the meeting. Speaking on the review meeting collector asked the political parties to cooperate with the district authorities in the organizing the polls in a fair manner.
In addition to this he asked the party representatives to seek prior permission from the concerned returning officers for the organizing public meetings and rallies in the district. He also asked them to take permission for use of party vehicles that will be touring during the time of elections. He said that the school buses should not be used for electioneering. He warned to book police cases on political representatives if any disturbances occurs during the meetings and public rallies.
