Meet on Control of Alzheimer

Kakinada, Jan 5th: A meet on the control of Alzheimer disease was organized at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) here on Tuesday. The managing director of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, USA, Dr. Craig M. Garver visited the university to deliver a talk on 'Current Trends and Research in Prevention of Alzheimer's Disease (AD).

While addressing the students, Dr. Craig said that keeping brain engaged in knowledgeable and useful activities, having regular walk and trying to learn some more languages could control the Alzheimer disease for some extend. The JNTU-K vice-chancellor prof. Allam Appa Rao, presiding over the program, said that the JNTU-K team wanted to work with Dr. Craig to take forward their medical research. JNTU principal EV Prasad, director's Vijay Kumar, Padma Raju, Shanthi Prabha, students and other participated.
