Kakinada, Mar 9th: For the smooth conduct of the fore coming Parliament and Assembly elections that are scheduled to be organized in the month of April, the election authorities are making all the arrangements to avoid unnecessary disturbances. In this concern the authorities are going to organize meeting for all the district collectors on 13th March in Hyderabad at Jubilee hall. Chief election officer, Dr. I.V Subba Rao revealed this to the media in a video conference organized on Monday at collectorate court. Revenue and police officials attended the conference.
In this conference, identification of critical polling stations, change of polling stations, removal of authorized publicity holdings and banners, identification of unauthorized vehicles and many election related issues were discussed. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Subba Rao said that the officers of Indian election commission will be reaching Hyderabad by March 12th and the meeting will be organized on 13th. All district Collectors, SP’s, DIG’s, IG’s, police commissioners and many more will attend the meeting. He said that the agenda of meeting will be sent to the concerned district collectors by Tuesday evening. Collector Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi, joint collector Kona Sasidhar and many more participated.
