Kakinada, Jan 11th: The three day program of Masters Athletic Championship that was organized by Masters Athletic Association President, Chundru Govidaraju was concluded in the district on Sunday at sports authority grounds. Joint Collector Kona Sasidhar and ZP Chairman Venu were the chief guests for the program. They distributed prizes to the winners under different events.
Speaking on the occasion, ZP Chairman Mr. Venu appreciated the senior citizens who took part in the events with more energy. He asked the youth to take inspiration from the participants and valuable suggestions pertaining of keeping themselves fit. Mr. Kona Sasidhar also presided over the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion he congratulated Chundru Govindaraju for organizing such programs. He added that, he was very glad to be on the occasion and enjoyed all the competitions that were organized. National athletics president, T.V. Rao, D.S.D.O Ramana, rotary club president Ch. Surya Rao, national badminton association president T. Narayana Reddy, District Olympics president K. Padmanabham and many more took part in this closing ceremony.
