A married woman attempted suicide due to family disputes here on Monday. According to the statement released, SI DS Chaitanya Krishna stated that Geti Nookaratnam, resident of Suryanarayapuram, Kakinada had a fight with her husband Pothuraju on Monday afternoon. Due to the mental stress, Nookaratnam hung herself to the fan. Her daughter Devi observed her hanging and screamed aloud. Neighbors and relatives rushed into the room and brought her down. She was shifted to Government General Hospital immediately but could not survive. III-Town police filed a case and investigating.
