Maoist Galikonda Dalam member surrendered to district police here on Thursday. Paangi Aasu (32) from Mandapalli village of Koyyuru mandal in Vishaka District and his sister Sombali (27) joined as maoists in 2001 year in Galikonda Dalam under Commander Krishna. District SP Trivikrama Varna said this to news line before media persons. He worked for 6 years in Galikonda Dalam, 2 years in Korukonda Dalam from 2007 and as member at Galikonda Dalam Militia from 2009. Government announced Rs.50/- cash reward on his surrendering. SP stated that earlier he participated in 8 major destruction incidents. As he is suffering from heart related disease and bone problems, he surrendered before police station.
