Kakinada, May 12th: A man was killed in the hands of his younger brother. The incident took place at recharlapeta area on Tuesday. According to the sources provided by the police, Botsa Yakoob, 32 and Botsa Devadasu are brothers. Their father Sanyasi Rao and Devadasu were living in the same house along with their families. Yakoob bore grudge against his father for not showing affection to his children on par with the children of his younger brother Devadasu.
On Sunday he went to his father’s house and picked up quarrel with him. A heated argument went between the brothers and the father. As temper rose, Devadasu stabbed Yakoob with a knife. Yakoob sustained severe injuries on the chest and was treated at a local private hospital. Yakoob died on the way while shifting to the government general hospital for better medical aid. Circle inspector, Mr. Ravi Kanth booked a case under IPC 302 on the accused Devadasu. The body was shifted to government hospital for postmortem.
