Man dies due to adverse effect of treatment

Rajahmundry, June 9th: An auto rickshaw driver died due to the adverse effect of treatment on Tuesday. Angered over the situation, drivers of various other auto rickshaws staged a stir at the hospital demanding to take action on the doctors and to give relief to the kin of the deceased. Issue becoming serious, III town SI, M. Bala Krishan, traffic SI, S. Satyanaraya reached the hospital and tried to get the situation into control by convincing the auto drivers saying to get the relief from the hospital management by speaking with them.

 

According to the sources, Vadisela Venkata Ramana (28) is a resident of Ramdaspeta. He was admitted in a private hospital at Lakshmivarapupeta on Monday with a complaint that one of his legs was infected. Doctors suggested him to go for an operation and did the same and removed the pus from his leg. Late in the night Ramana developed high fever and doctors administered injections to treat this.

 

After a while he suffered convulsions and started vomiting. As the situation became serious, doctors advised to shift him to another hospital for better treatment where he died en route. To study over the situation, Indian Medical Association leaders, Akula Satyanarayana, Adireddy Venkateswarulu also visited the hospital. They paid condolence over the death of Ramana.
