District Joint Collector Mr. Mutyala Raju has asked the Bankers to provide loans for the farmers, who are having loan eligibility cards in the district with in the given schedule. Yesterday, he has conducted a review meet with Bankers and Agriculture department officials at Collectorate in Kakinada. He asked the bankers to make a target to provide loans upto Rs.100 crores to the farmers in the district in this year. Around 73 thousands of farmers details were send to banks, he said. Bankers must provide loans for all the eligible farmers, he stressed. He suggested them to provide loans without any interest to those farmers, who cleared all their pending payments. Agriculture dept JD Prameela, LDM Mr. S.Jagannadha Swamy and other respective officials participated in the meeting.
