State Minister for Stamps & Registrations Mr. Thota Narasimham has requested the government to provide the life history of great social reformer Sri Mahatma Jyotirao Phule as lessons in the school text books. Yesterday, he has participated in Jyotirao Phule's death anniversary meet which was conducted by the BC Welfare department in Kakinada. Firstly, he had offered garlands to Phule's statue along with the District Collector at the GGH center and paid rich tributes to him. Later, speaking on this,  he assured the public that he will discuss with the government to add the life history of Phule into the school text books as lessons. He said, Jyotirao Phule was a great activist, thinker, social reformer, writer, philosopher, theologist, scholar, editor and revolutionary of India. He called the services of Phule to the country. This program was held under the chairmanship of District Educational Officer (DEO) Mr. K.V.Srinivasula Reddy. Handicrafts Development Corporation Chairman Mr. Pantham Nanaji, DCC President Mr. Dommeti Venkateswarulu, Municipal Commissioner Mr. Ravi Kumar, RDO Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru and others participated in the program and paid rich tributes to Phule.
