Hyderabad, Dec 27th: The Osmania University Student's Joint Action Committee (JAC) decided to conduct “Telangana Vidhyarthi Maha Garjana” on January 3 with five lakh students at OU Arts College demanding the center to initiate the process for a separate Telangana by January 2. They said they will consider calling off their agitation if the Center responds positively to their demands.

The Telugu Desam has extended support to the Maha Garjana and requested students to participate in large number and make it a grand success. The JAC leaders said they were forced to take this decision as the Center and the state governments were neglecting the Telangana issue due to pressure from Andhra and Rayalaseema leaders.
