Kakinada, Feb 19^th: Demanding for the SC categorization, leaders of Magida Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) has organized maha dharna at East Godavari district collectorate on Thursday. As a part of state wide dharna the activists reached collectorate in the early hours of Thursday and locked the main entrance. Police reached the incident place and tried to break the locks of the main entry. With this conflict took place between the activists and police and situation became more serious. Activists and leaders of MRPS raised slogans against the police for their misbehavior.

Issue becoming more serious, large police force was arranged in the collectorate premises. Activists continued dharna till 2pm which resulted in blockage of road. MRPS district leader Kondepudi Syambabu spoke on the occasion. He alleged that the government is neglecting over the issue even after their frequent petitions kept over the same. He said that with the call given by Krishna Madiga they have blocked the collectorate and also revealed to block all thasildhar offices in the district on Friday. He also said that they were planning to block all the houses of people representatives on 21^st of February and block the highways on 22^nd.

Mr. Syambabu also warned to intensify the dharna by stopping all the train services from 23^rd to 25^th of February. MRPS leaders, A. Suryanarayana, M. Chinna Subbarao, V. Satyavathi, A. Nagabhushanam and many more participated.
