District Police Office, DSRB Inspector Mr. S. Manohar Rao a famous Magician, was grandly felicitated at Gandhi Bhavan here on Sunday. All the famous magicians across the State participated in this felicitation conducted in association with State Magicians Musical Association. Mr and Mrs. Manohar Rao were honored with garlands, shawls and presented a memorandum. Speaking on this, Mr. Manohar said that State Government had presented 2011 Ugadi Award recognizing his services as a Magician. This award signifies felicitation to every magician, he added. As he is the first magician who used stick for his magic shows, he was named as ‘Stick’ Manohar. He attained third prize in the National Level Magic show conducted at Panaji (Capital of Goa) in the year 2002. He also achieved first prize in the competition held at Sirohi Road, Rajasthan in the year 2004. He also started Magic School in Kakinada and providing training to several people. RVR Prasad, Ch Syam, Murali Krishnam Raju, Vijay Kumar, T.Murali, Garikpati Srinivas addressed in this program. Manohar’s magic show before felicitation program attracted people’s attention.
