District Joint Collector Mr. A.Babu has announced that the Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme will be implemented for Cooking gas subsidy from 15th of May, 2013. He noticed that the consumers, who have completed the seeding process of their Aadhaar number and Bank Account to Cooking gas before 15th May, will only benefit for this scheme. According to this, he had conducted a video conference with Division and Mandal wide Revenue officers and Gas dealers, here on Saturday from Collectorate Court Hall. Speaking on this, he stated that the LPG Gas subsidy will be implemented from 15th May without any delay in the district. He said, the consumers, who have completed their Aadhaar seeding, are seperated as Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Complaint Customers in the district. These DBT customers will get Rs.600/- permanent advance through their bank account, after completing their cooking gas. This will be applicable from 15th May, he noticed. This permanent advance will always received by the DBT customers once they completed their gas, he said. Those customers, who have not completed their Aadhaar seeding before 15th May, will be seperated as DBT Non Complaint Consumers, he stated. These consumers will have time upto 15th August, 2013 to complete their Aadhaar seeding process, he added. He stated, the consumers who are not completed Aadhaar seeding will not get subsidy on cooking gas, they have to purchase gas for commercial price. 'Deepam' gas scheme will be transferred to any blood related person, if the actual person dead.
