Kakinada, April 27th: Naga Lakshmi, a well known Kuchupudi dancer and the student of famous Natyacharya, S.Krishna Kumar was selected to perform in US. Naga Lakshmi belonging to Kakinada gave nearly 60 performances all over the country and received many appreciations and blessing for all her performances. With her keen interest in dancing she was learning the art from Krishna Kumar since 10 years and became well known all over the country.
According to Krishna Kumar, the Rotary district was sponsoring Naga Lakshmi. She will perform at California, Oregon and other places from April 29. Naga Lakshmi earlier performed in a program organized at AP Bhavan in New Delhi, on the eve of Andhra Pradesh Avatharana Dinothsavam. She also performed at Tyagaraya Gana Sabha in Hyderabad, Doordarshan and other reputed places. Speaking to the media Naga Lakshmi felt very glad to perform in US.
