Lions Club Kakinada has grandly observed its Golden Jubilee Celebrations on Sunday at Lions Function hall here. According to this, Mr. D. V. S. Raju has presided over the program as the Chief Guest and started the celebrations by lighting the lamp (jyothiprajwalana) here. Speaking on this, he called upon the club members to work with unity to fulfill the aim of the club and all the members should always look to establish lionism, he added. Later, Lions Ex Governor Mr. Badam Balakrishna has stated that the Lions club has completed 50 years of its existence and announced Rs. 5 Lakh worth Sewing Machines, Tri-cycles & Hearing solutions will be distributed on 27th of this month as a part of these celebrations. Later, the club members felicitated the Ex-President & Founders in the program. Mr. Degala Ramesh, Mr. Koduri Rangarao, Mr. Pulavarthi Kumar, Mr. Gandhiji, Mr. Mohan Kumar, Mr. Badam Chandra Shekar, Mr. Satish, Mr. P. S. Sharma, Mr. Sri Ramulu and others attended the program.
