Kakinada, Mar 2nd: Lions club, Kakinada is declared as the best club in the region. The club is recognized as the best club among the others in its services and other welfare activities. International regional –IV conference was organized at local Suryakala Mandir on Sunday. The concerned authorities have declared the Lions club as the best club and besides this seven other awards were also given to the club in various other categories. The services rendered by the club includes organizing health camps to the people, providing drinking water facilities, organizing blood camps and many more.
Regional chairman, Palaparthy Subba Rao has given away the awards to the winners. The other awards bagged by the club includes Dilip Kumar Sadanani as best president, Ravishankar Patnaik as best secretary, D. Narsimha Murthy as outstanding treasurer, 100 per cent registration award, best calendar events award, best membership growth award etc. Dilip Kumar Sadanani, K. Muni Reddy congratulated the club members and others who extended their help in winning the awards.
