Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram & East Godavari Districts Lions Club Cabinet meeting was held here on Sunday at Grandi Babji Function hall in Kakinada under the supervision of Lion Club Gems. According to this, the Lions District Governor Dr. V.S.V.D.Siva Prasad has presided as a chief guest and started the program by lighting the lamp (jyothiprajwalana) here. Speaking on this, he stated that the Lions Cabinet adherented the proposal to construct Lions Eye Hospital in Vijayanagaram district. Around 1.5 acre land has been provided to the club for this construction, he said. Also the cabinet has approved for the construction of Lions Cancer hospital in Visakhapatnam, he announced. He explained about the social services which are going to be conducted by the club with received funds. Later, Mr. Lions Global Membership Co-ordinator Lingamulla Krishna Murthy and Grandhi Babji were felicitated in this program. Lions Vice Governors Mr. D.Tirumala Rao, Mr. B.V.N.Reddy, Mr. P.D.G.Raghavendra Rao and all the four districts club representatives were attended the program.
