To commemorate the 119th birth anniversary of Dr. SR Ranganathan, the architect of modern librarianship in India, ‘Librarians Day’ was observed. Librarian’s day was grandly celebrated in District Library of Chaganti street in Gandhi Nagar this Thursday. Librarian of District Library Mr. M.Srinivas Rao offered garland to the picture of Dr.Ranganathan and shared his views on how he served as a librarian.
