Leo Club has been started in association with Lions Club here at JNTU-K on Monday. Lions Governor Mr. DVS Raju made Jyothi Prajwalna and commenced this club. JNTU Principal Mr. Uday Bhaskar participated as chief guest in this program. Speaking on this, he addressed students that students must have helping nature from college life itself. He also stated that few students are already part of NSS group. He appreciated Lions Club in starting Leo Club for providing platform for students to take part in social service activities. Students Gowtham Yadav as President, Sasi Kiran as Vice President, Praveen Kumar as Secretary, K.Sunitha as Treasurer were selected for Leo Club. Lions Governor Mr. DVS Raju, Regional Chairman Lingamulla Krishna Murthy, D.Vijaya Laxmi, members from Lions clubs of Pratipadu, Amalapuram and Kakinada were present.
