Third Additional District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of the Mandal Legal Services Authority, Mr. Ch. K. Durga Rao stated that ‘Legal Literacy Clubs' were meant at creating awareness among the people about various laws. In order to mark Legal Literacy Day on Tuesday, Legal Literacy Camp was conducted at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Law. Addressing in the camp, he said legal aid would be provided free of cost to the needy, provided they approach the legal services authority. Eight Legal Literacy Clubs were formed in various Educational Institutions across the District and Awareness Camps were being conducted for the members of the clubs, he added. He also said that the main objective is to utilize students as a medium to create awareness among the people about the existing laws and the procedures of obtaining free legal aid. Judges B.
