Leader fasts for united Andhra

Kakinada, Dec 13th: Mounting pressure on the Congress high command for the immediate withdrawal of its Wednesday's announcement of center's decision of initiating steps for a separate Telangana, people and their representatives from all political parties here supported the relay hunger strike of the Kakinada (urban) MLA, Mr. Dwarampudi Chadrashekar Reddy, who continued the stir here on the second day on Sunday.

Mr. Reddy said that he was ready to start an indefinite strike if the Center failed to consider the pleas of the people of Andhra and Rayalaseema who want a Samaikya Andhra. He said he would continue the relay strike tomorrow also. Irrespective of political parties, all MLAs from East Godavari district who are in favor of a united Andhra, reached venue at Balaji Cheruvu here, and warned that they were ready for intensifying the stir if they did not get favorable news from the Center.
