Kakinada, Feb 23^rd: Praja Rajyam Party political affairs committee member K.S.R Murthy alleged that the lack of proper planning by the district authorities has created scarcity of water to the second rabi crop. A meeting was organized by the party members at Praja Rajyam Party office on Monday. Speaking to the media persons Mr Murthy said that it is the duty of the district authorities to take the information from the Department of Central Waterstatics about the availability of water in the particular season and direct the farmers accordingly. He alleged that the authorities has failed in doing the same due to which the farmers are facing problems and has to bear a huge loss.

He also revealed the need of arranging review meeting by the collector to look over the developments in the district. He asked the collector to take severe action on the concerned officers who fails to do the work in time. He also commented on the congress government for its failure in implementing the schemes properly. He said that in spite of the export ban the prices of the essential commodities has raised alarmingly. He also found fault with the government in supply of rice at subsidized price effectively. He revealed that the party will disclose its agenda by the end of this month. PRP district convener Chakravarthy, mahila rajyam leader Vanga Geetha and many more participated.
