An exhibition named “Know Your Army” is being organized under the Indian Army at the JNTU grounds here on April 14 and 15. This program is to create awareness among the public, youth in particular, about Army and career opportunities available in it. According to a press release by Col. Dinesh Lokhande, Commanding Officer of the Army's Electronics and Mechanical Engineering Center at Secunderabad, the exhibition will be inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Defense M.M.Pallam Raju. He stated that nearly 100 Army officers and staff would conduct the exhibition. Army tanks, artillery guns and other ammunition would be displayed in addition to demonstration of para-sailing, para-motoring, acrobatics etc. Problems faced by ex-servicemen would be known and steps taken to solve the same.
