The Kakinada Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. V.Ravi Kumar had released the notification for Re-separation of Wards. According to sources, the Re-separation of wards has been taken place in the city, due to the recent inclusion of four villages to the corporation. These four villages were added to the nearest divisions. Any objections and suggestions from the public on this re-separation are to be received upto 4th of June, 2013. Speaking on this, Mr. Ravi Kumar has stated that the re-separation of wards are being held according to the rules of 'delimitation of wards'. He said the present population of the city is 3.12 Lakhs, while including these 4 villages it is increased to 3.50 Lakhs. Each ward will have 7,020 population. According to this re-separation, Turangi village population is added to 22, 23 & 24 wards. Similarly, Swaminagar, Ganganapalli population added to 42 ward and S.Atchutapuram population added to 44th division, he added.
