The Kakinada Port Railway Station of Sambamurthy Nagar, Kakinada which was constructed at a cost of Rs.5 Cr about a year and a half ago will be inaugurated in month of September. General Manager of the South Central Railway Mr. M.S. Jayanth stated that they are arranging to open the station in the month of September and will announce the date very soon. Speaking to media people here on Monday, Mr.Jayanth said that its inauguration was being postponed repeatedly and finally, Chief Minister Mr. K. Rosaiah will inaugurate the Port Railway Station he added. After conducting a review meeting with the officials of the seaport here, Mr. Jayanth inspected Kakinada Town Station. Divisional Railway Manager of the SCR's Vijayawada division Mr, Anurag, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mr. K. Sambasiva Rao and other officials accompanied the General Manager.
