Two of the 3rd year students of KIET Engineering College were selected for IIT Mumbai Internship. Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, College Chairman, Mr. Pothula Viswam said that Akwila Soundarya, Danda Anusha were the selected students. Out of 55 Colleges across the country, only 88 students were selected for this internship. Mr. Viswam expressed happiness on the selection of two students out of 88 students. College Chief Advisor, Dr.KNV Prasad Rao said that six weeks training would be given for the selected students on Research and Development in Computer Science department. IIT Professor Dr.DB Paatak will give training from 4th May. KIET Group College Principals Dr.MV Krishna Rao, Dr. Murthy, Dr. Raj Gopal, Dr. Sastry, Dr.Bhanu appreciated the selected students. Vice Chancellor of JNTU College of Engineering, Prof. Allam Apparao also congratulated both the students. University Logistic Coordinator KV Ramana, KIET Director John, Sports Council Secretary G.Syam Kumar, KIET Placement Officer Rama Krishna, University Life Science Advisor Dr. SUM Prasad participated in this program.
