Kakinada, July 1st: The students of Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology (KIET) achieved third prize in the national level competition. The students won 3 prizes for their work “Line Follower with surveillance system’. They demonstrated their skills at the Robo camp held at IIIT-Hyderabad. Out of 200 students from the 92 college’s five students from KIET participated and bagged the prizes.
The JNTU-Kakinada vice chancellor, Prof Allam Apparao congratulated the students over their achievements. KIET is a JNTU affiliated college. A demonstration for the students of JNTU campus engineering college students was also organized on Wednesday. Prof Rao appreciated team members B. Sundeep Kumar, Madhuri, N. Sushma, Vinod and Surendra for their achievement.
