KIET chairman donates Rs 1 lakh to Arogyasri

Kakinada, July 23rd: KIET (Kakinada Institute of Engineering & Technology) educational institutions chairman Mr. Potula Venkata Viswam donated Rs 1 lakh for the conduct of Rajiv Arogyasri, the prestigious health scheme started by the congress government for the welfare of the weaker sections. A cheque for this amount was handed to the East Godavari district collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi on Thursday.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Viswam said that he donated the money in memory of the death anniversary of his father Potula Rammayya who was the former district Congress committee president. He appreciated the congress government for taking up such a health scheme in a big way for the welfare of the people. He added that many people got benefited by the scheme and leading happy life with all hopes for good future. Mr. Dwevedi complimented Mr. Viswam for their gesture.
