Kakinada government general hospital (KGGH) is geared up for effective treatment of swine flu (HINI) cases if reported. The superintendent of the government hospital, Mr. M.B.R Sharma on Thursday said that medicines have been made available in the hospital to treat the effected people. For the effective treatment of the people a special ward has been created, he said.
However on confirming with the effect of HINI virus the treatment will be further extended to the effected people if necessary. Meanwhile, Dr. Ramaswaroop Jawahar, noted physician and secretary of Kakinada branch of Indian Medical Association (IMA) said that all major hospitals in East Godavari have the capability to treat the swine flu cases. He also said that people need not panic about the disease. In swine flu cases, respiratory problems will develop in addition to fever. The only need is that the affected person has to be kept in isolation while providing medical aid, he said.
