The Kakinada Co-operative Town Bank Limited (KCTB) targets to collect Rs.300 Crore deposits by 2014 March, announced by the Bank President Mr. Chitturi Ravindra. Yesterday, speaking with media persons, he had revealed the bank financial position by 31-3-2013 according to the 34th annual report of the bank. He said, the bank received net profit of Rs. 263.44 crore by 31st March 2013. After six months, we received Rs.20 crores & above deposits, he added. He stated that the bank mobolised Rs.280 crore deposits and aimed at achieving Rs.300 crore deposits by the end of the current financial year. He said that the Reserve Bank of India has given approval for the bank to open two more new branches at Visakhapatnam & Gajuwaka. The bank customers can draw their money from any branch of the bank, as the core banking system was completed, he said. RTGS and NEFT services will be started soon, he added.
