Kapu Parirakshana Samithi District level meeting was conducted successfully, here on Sunday, at Kapu Kalyana Mandapam Akula Sivayya Naidu auditorium in Kakinada. A huge number of kapu religion people from the district attended the meet. The program was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Pepakayala Ramakrishna here. Kapu Udhyama Union State Convenor Mr. Dasari Ramu has participated as the chief guest to this program. The samithi has decided to conduct indefinite blockade on National Highways on 17th of this month, demanding government to provide reservation to Kapu castes. They were demanding BC status for Kapu, Telaga, Balija & Ontari castes. They have decided to vote for the leaders, who will work to provide reservations to them before the coming elections. They criticised that the Congress and TDP political parties were cheeted them in the implementation of GO no: 30.
