Kakinada, Jan 15^th: In order to encourage the handicraft artists, Kalasrusti exhibition was organized at T.T.D kalyana mandapam. The exhibition was inaugurated by Kakinada mayor, Kavikondala Saroja on Wednesday. The exhibition will be held from 14^th to 31^st of January. Handicraft weavers from different places have arranged the stalls and exhibited the different items made by them. The exhibition was looking very attractive with a wide range of handmade items. Mrs. Saroja has examined the entire stall arranged on this occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Saroja has said that the handicraft arts are the reflections of Indian culture and tradition. She alleged that, due to lack of proper encouragement the art is perishing day by day. "Organizing of such exhibitions will provide means of living to the poor weavers", she added. Kalasrushti organizer, Gummadipudi Dasaradhachari also spoke on the occasion. He said that the exhibition was organized to encourage the weavers. He said that all the objects right from home needs to office use are made available in the exhibition.
