District Basket Ball competitions were held yesterday in Rangaraya Medical College. Nearly nine teams from all over the district participated in this competition. Organising committee member Mr. I. Bhimesh said that teams from both women and men categories, who showed talent were selected. Selected teams will participate in state level competitions that are going to be held at BHEL in Medak district from 18th to 21st of October, he added. Principal of Rangaraya Medical College Mr. Kameswara Rao attented as a cheif guest for the Finals between Kakinada and Rajahmundry teams, that took place yesterday at 6pm in the evening. Joint Secretary of Basket Ball union Mr. Upendra said that Kakinada team has won on Rajahmundry with 37-25 difference.
