Software Technology Parks Of India (STPI) Company conducted a seminar on ‘IT Future at Kakinada’ here on Wednesday. Representatives of several IT companies participated in this seminar. Several experts of IT field stated that their major goal is to establish 100 software companies in the coming 10 years with a turnover of Rs.1000 Crores. Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Prof. Allam Apparao attended as chief guest in this seminar. Speaking on this, Prof. Apparao stated that Kakinada has every eligible factor to develop as future IT Hub in State. He also stated that there are talented Engineering students in university and IT companies need expert employees, for this, just coordination is important he added. He reminded that apart from China, other countries like Latvia are also competing with us in IT industry. Therefore, to stand forward in this competitive IT world, experts are of mere importance, VC added. STPI Convener, Mr. Venu Gopal said that IT field has bright future in Kakinada. Deputy Convener of STPI, Mr. B.Suresh said that they need assistance to achieve Vision 2020 goal. Nyros Technologies CEO, Mr. MNS Pavan Kumar, Infotech AVP, Mr. V.Krishna Mohan, Avineon India General Manager, Mr. MSR Anjaneylu, Trewport Techno Director, Mr. M.Phani Kumar, VMT Systems Manager, Mr. N.Nageswarao, Spartan Solutions Managing Director, GITA President, Mr. R.Sriramulu, GITA Vice President, Nimisys CEO, Mr. P.Ravi Kumar explained about the progress of their companies.
