Mahatma Jyothirao Pule always fought for Backward classes rights said Minister of Social Welfare Mr.Pilli Subash Chandra Bose. Grand celebrations of Jyothirao Pule's 184th Jayanthi celebrations took placed at Gowthami Conference hall of Dwana Office this Sunday. Firstly, Minister Bose, District Collector Gopala Krishna Dwidedi offered garlands to Pule's statue near Old Bus stand center. Later there reached Gowtami Conference hall for the celebrations. Minister while addressing said that Jyothirao fought for rights for backward classes and education for girls. He added that Mr.Gopala Krishna Dwivedi, the collector worked with dedication for 2 years and provided education to many poor students in district. Accompanying him Mr.Dwivedi addressed that Jagjeevanram Jayanthi,Mahatma Jyothirao Pule's Jayanthi, Ambedhkar Jayanthi being celebrated along with the financial year in the month of April is good indication.
