The Joint Task force team are paying strict attention on hoarders of essential commodities  and illegal transportation of food items in the district said District Joint Collector K Sasidhar. The district administration will take stringent action against those involved in hoarding and black-marketing activities of essential commodities in the district.  Five Joint task force teams has been formed in the district and they will make surprise check at fair price shops, godowns and markets he added. This Tuesday he arranged a special vehicle for making surprise visits. If anyone found involved in illegal activities severe action will be initiated against such persons. He suggested that people who are aware of any illegal actions taking place can inform on toll free number 6454341. He also issued directives to check the prices lists, weighing machines to control the prices in the district and avoid black marketing and illegal transporting of commodities. Soon after the successful opposition called Bharat Bandh, the district administration announced of taking action against hoarders of essential commodities and food items. In this program, District Civil Supplies Officer B.Yesu Ratnam, District Manager Y.Narsingarao and other department officers participated.
