The District Joint Collector Mr. Ahmed Babu has received transfer cum promotion orders from the State Government here on Wednesday. He got promotion as Adilabad District Collector. According to sources, Mr. Babu, who belongs to Kerala had positioned as E.G District Joint Collector on 21st June, 2011. He was named as an well efficient collector. He played a major role on implementation of Aadhaar in the district. He is one of the official, who took our district to the second position in the country on implementation of Aadhaar number enrollment, and first position in Biometric System implementation for Ration supply. According to this, he had received award from Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. He is renouned as 'Aadhaar Babu' according to his work for Aadhaar. He worked as a CEO for Arogya Sri in the district. He introduced Grievance Management system, E-office System and many other Online systems for major programmes in the district. He also played a key role in the implementation of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for LPG Cooking gas scheme in the district. He got received many appreciations from the authorities for his work in the district.
