Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada has started preparations for Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET)-2013. According to this, ECET syllabus review committee meeting was conducted here on Monday at JNTU-K. Speaking on this, ECET Chairman and JNTU-K Vice Chancellor Dr. Tulasi Ram Das had discussed about the important things for syllabus finalization. He noticed that the common minimum syllabus should be finalized to avoid inconvenience for the students. Expert Professors have attended the meet from various Polytechnic & Degree colleges in the state. Later, speaking on this, ECET Convenor and JNTU-K DAP Dr. Ch. Saibabu stated that, JNTU-K is conducting the exam for second time in the state. The committee meet will be conducted on 2nd of February, he added. Principal Secretary of Higher Education Mr. Ajay Misra, State Council Chairman Professor Mr. Jaya Prakash Rao, Technical Education Commissioner Mr. Ajay Jain and many other Nominees from various Universities were going to attend the meet, he noticed. ECET-2013 schedule will be released on that day after discussing with the expects, he stated. He announced that the ECET notification will be released on February second week. Students should notice this and they need to register through online only, that he added.
