JNTU, Kakinada 'B' Zone Cricket League Tournament Competitions were grandly started here on Monday at JNTUK & Rangaraya Medical College Sports Grounds. According to this, JNTUK Principal Mr. K.Padmaraju has presided over the program and started these competitions. Speaking on this, he stated that 'we are conducting these zone competitions to develop interest on sports for student along with their studies'. Indoor stadium & latest Gym were constructed in JNTUK, he added. First match was conducted between BVC Odalarevu and Narsapuram Swarnandhra Engineering colleges at JNTUK grounds. Later, another match started between Bhimavaram Chaitanya and Kakinada Ideal Engineering colleges at Rangaraya Sports Grounds. JNTU-K Sports secretary Mr. G.Syam Kumar has observed the competitions.
