Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada had completed its second year in the formation of university. Nevertheless, until now, the Convocation (Snaatakootsawam) event has not been celebrated. Finally, date has been fixed to conduct Convocation celebrations on 6th of February. In order to celebrate Convocation, separate executive council must be arranged in every university. However, Government is neglecting in arrangement of such councils from past few days. At last, State Government has arranged Monitoring and Development Committee. Vice chancellors of from various universities will coordinate as Chairman and Registrars will coordinate as Members in this committee. Apart from them, Higher Educational Department Principal Secretary Mr. CR Biswal, Government Financial Planning Department Secretary Vasudha Mishdra, Technical Education Commissioner Dr. K.Lakshmi Narayana, AP State Council of Higher Education Chairman Dr. P.Jaya Prakashrao will participate as members. Yet this is a temporary committee. In this event, Certificates will be presented to 2008-09 Batch students. Famous Scientist Prof. CR Rao will participate as Chief Speaker in this event.
