JNTU organises Researcher’s Day

Kakinada, Nov 1st: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Kakinada (JNTU-K) organized a Researchers Day on the occasion of AP Formation Day on Sunday. Participating as chief guest, the vice-chairman of the AP Planning Board, Dr D. Swaminathan, said that teachers need to impart quality education in students in order to meet the requirements of the nation and produce results accordingly. Research has to be such that it solves problems and is in tune with the needs of the country, he said.

The Vice chancellor of JNTU-K, Prof Allam Apparao said he was striving for excellence at the international with the help of inter-disciplinary teaching and research. The university was also entering into Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) with more universities in the world to impart quality education to students. Mr. Swaminathan distributed JNTU-K Researchers Awards to Mr. B. Prabhakar Rao, Mr. Siva Nagaraju, Mr. D.S Murthy and many more.
