Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada 'B' zone Cricket competitions which are conducting from last few days for all its affiliated colleges were concluded, here on Sunday. The final match was held between JNTU-K and Sri Sai Madhavi Engineering colleges teams here. In this match, the JNTU-K team won the toss and selected batting first. This team has completed the batting by 147 runs in 37.1 overs. Later, Sri Sai Madhavi Engg college started batting and remain all-out for 69 runs in 20.3 overs. So that the JNTU-K team won the match. Speaking on this, the JNTU-K Sports Secretary Mr. G.Syam Kumar has stated that the winning team was selected to participate in the Central Zone Cricket Competitions, which are to be held from 18th to 21st of this month. Later, the JNTU-K Registrar Mr. G.V.R.Prasad Raju, Director Mr. P.Uday Bhaskar were presented the awards to the winners.
