Sports team from JNTU-K College of Engineering has been selected here on Wednesday to participate in the South Zone Inter University Men’s Kabbadi Competitions. These competitions would be conducted on this month 26th at Dwarada City of Karnataka State. Physical Trainer from Pragathi College Mr. DVVS Srinivasrao will coordinate as team coach and manager. Similarly, JNTU team here on Wednesday has been selected to participate in All India University Hockey Competitions conducted at Rangaraya Medical College grounds. 80 sportsmen from various engineering colleges participated in this competition. Selection Committee Chairman Mr. Uday Bhaskar, District Hockey Association Secretary Mr. V.Ravi Raju, Pragathi College PET Mr. A.Babji, University Sports Secretary Mr. G.Syam Kumar selected the best sportsmen for this competition. This selected team would participate in Bharathiar University Competitions, which will be conducted on 6th of December at Coimbatore.
