Dr. B. Prabhakar Rao has taken charge as Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU-K) Rector, here on Monday. He has taken charge from the former Rector Mr. B.V.Prasad at his chamber in the University. According to sources, Dr. B. Prabhakar Rao has joined to the service in the year of 1982. Firstly, he worked for JNTU Amalapuram as a Assistant Professor and later on 1985, he was joined in JNTU-K as a Professor. He was completed his Ph.D from Bangalore Indian Institute of Sciences in the year 1988. He was worked in many different positions from last 20years. University Registrar Dr. Prasad Raju, Directors, HOD's & Professors congratulated Dr. Prabhakar on his appointment.
